Daycare Rooms
The daycare rooms are set up to resemble living-room environments. Each room is approximately
600sqft in size. Each have a full-length sofa and armchair designed by Philippe Starck. The furniture
is a molded plastic that does not absorb any odor, moisture or bacteria. This furniture is used in many
high-end hotels on roof decks and in outdoor spaces in private residences and restaurants because
of its durability. Mounted to the wall in each room is a 46" flat screen TV for the dog's viewing pleasure.
During the day, it is a constant stream of Animal Planet via the Dish Network. In the evenings, for those
spending the night with us in our cageless environment, it is 'movie-time.'
The flooring in the rooms is a non-porous epoxy flooring; this flooring does not allow for the absorbtion
of bacteria or moisture. It is a surface that is easily cleaned and sanitized. Around the perimeter of the
rooms is a cove-base where the walls meet the floor. This prevents any bacteria from getting trapped
in creases or cracks.
Immediately inside the rooms is a floor-to-ceiling glass storefront vestibule. This allows for staff and
pets to have access going into and coming out of the daycare rooms without any risk of a dog
escaping. Your pets safety is our #1 priority.
Each of the rooms is equipped with non-toxic cleaning and sanitizing solutions to clean up after the
dogs that may have an accident inside the play room. The towels, cleaning solutions, etc are kept
behind a gate that dogs do not have access.
Fresh water in stainless steel bowls is available to the dogs at all times while in the play rooms. The
toys are provided by DoggieDay and are solid rubber toys allowing for the toys to be cleaned and
sanitized without absorbing bacteria. We do not use cloth toys or toys that may be torn apart and
ingested.
